Here are some of the natural parks and botanical gardens around the lake:
1) The Sigurta Park in Valeggio Sul Mincio
Sigurta Park is located in the province of Verona in Valeggio Sul Mincio, approximately 8km from Peschiera del Garda. The park has 60 hectares of land. The garden park is endowed with many natural fascinations, especially in the months of March and April. Additionally, the park hosts many historical sites.
2) Heller Garden in Gardone Riviera
Heller Garden is a magical garden on Lake Garda; it's about 10000 square feet and is full of botanical species. It is one of the most attractive landscapes in Europe due to its Mediterranean greenery.
3) Arboretum in Arco
This arboretum was established in 1872 by Emperor Francesco’s cousin. It is located near the archducal villa. It contains a variety of vegetation from all over the world, which is supported by its mild climate. The arboretum has restricted visiting time. From October to March the visiting hours are between 9 am and 4 pm. From April to September its 8 am to 7 pm: entrance is free.
